The mission of Lutheran Church Extension
Fund is to provide opportunity to make funds and services
available in support of the Great Commission through The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
The Eastern District is a member
district of the Lutheran Church Extension Fund, making LCEF investments,
loans and services available to the congregations, individuals and
professional church workers of the Eastern District.
LCEF investments provide opportunity
for LCMS members to participate in ministry while earning interest
on their invested dollars at competitive rates. Dollars invested
with LCEF are at work in support of the Great Commission through
low-cost loans to churches, schools and organizations of The Lutheran
Church-Missouri Synod, helping these ministries to build, expand
and renovate to meet the needs of growing Great Commission ministries.
For information and assistance regarding investments, call 800-843-5233
or visit the LCEF Web
site.
Congregations and schools
may also want to explore LCEF investment services. Joyful Response(r)
is a free service that provides a system for congregations to receive
contributions and schools to receive tuition payments through electronic
funds transfer, simplifying accounting. Another free service is K.I.D.S.
(Kids Into Discipleship and Stewardship), a systematic plan that
helps children develop disciplined saving habits and grow in understanding
Biblical stewardship. For information and assistance contact Rick
Porter at the Eastern District office: 716-634-5111.
This does not constitute an offer
to sell or a request to buy. The offer is made solely by LCEF's Offering
Circular. As a nonprofit religious organization, LCEF investments are
not SIPC- or FDIC-insured bank deposit accounts.
Loans
For congregations and professional church
workers
Churches, schools and other LCMS
organizations that wish to expand their ministries may borrow from
LCEF. Loans may be on a secured basis, or in some cases, an unsecured
basis. Uses may include land acquisition and development, building
construction and all the related costs, or other aspects of church
extension. LCEF also offers many services related to the building process.

Porter at the Eastern District office: 716-634-5111.
LCEF is committed to helping
professional church workers through low cost housing and debt consolidation
loans. Church professionals on the Roster of The Lutheran Church-Missouri
Synod may call LCEF at 800-843-5233 or visit the LCEF Web

Services
For congregations, schools and other
organizations
LCEF offers a wide range of services
to help a ministry vision become reality for the sake of growing His
Kingdom. The "Arch of Services" (below) presents common elements
of the "vision process" through which LCEF can help ministries
realize their full potential, especially when ministry plans involve
decisions about facilities.
A process that begins with God's calling
for the congregation and develops an actionable plan to accomplish
the mission
For information about any of LCEF's
services, contact Rick
Porter at the Eastern District office: 716-634-5111. Information
